About Us
Deschutes Gift Company was born back in 1999 in Beaverton Oregon. My name is David
Thorne and I decided to make gift baskets for family members for Christmas one year and
decided to pursue a business designing gift baskets for golf fans and corporate golf
tournaments. When searching for gifts to put in our gift baskets I discovered amazing
gourmet products in the Northwest. I became a member of the chamber of commerce and
thats where are journey began to develop gift basket and gift marketing programs for
businesses. In 2005 Deschutes Gift Company decided to move our operations to Bend
Oregon. Our values are simple, we support local vendors, look for ideas to help businesses
grow and provide added value to each gift basket.
